    (If you do not use the Nexus Android 5.0 with build as above, you can do so by installing TWRP Recovery, see the steps at the bottom of the post.)
    • On your Android smartphone, Enable USB Debugging and OEM Unlock.

    • After that, connect your Nexus Smartphone to a computer.

    • In the folder CF-Auto-Root-nexus-7, open a terminal (on Windows: press the Shift key and right-click, select Open command window here) (on Mac and Linux, right-click, choose Open Terminal)

    • After that you will see a Terminal appears and type the command: adb reboot-bootloader

    • After the Fastboot Mode appears, 

    Now run the file root:

    For Windows, type command:
    root-windows.bat
    

    For Mac OS, type command:
    chmod +x root-mac.sh
    
    ./root-mac.sh
    

    For Linux, type command:
    chmod +x root-linux.sh
    
    ./root-linux.sh

    • Press any key to continue, then wait for the flashing process.
    • After that, your nexus device will restart automatically.
    • Now you'll see the icon SuperSU are on the menu of your application.

    • Optional: You can also verify that your device does not succeed in the root or via the Root Checker.


    How To Install TWRP for Root Nexus Device

    If you walkin are on the Nexus Android and Build ID that has been specified above, then you need to root through the Custom Recovery. Here's how to install TWRP on Nexus 7 to Root with file SuperSU.zip. But if you already use a Nexus Android 6.0 Marshmallow, you can use use this way (How To Root Android 6.0 Marshmallow On Nexus 7)
    • Make sure you've done Unlock Bootloader Nexus and have installed Minimal ADB and Fastboot on your computer.  Also enable the USB Debugging.
    • Download file twrp.img for Nexus 7 devices and rename into "recovery" then place it in a folder Minimal ADB and Fastboot (C:\Program Files\Minimal ADB and Fastboot)

    • Download SuperSU.zip file and place it on internal memory your Nexus.
    • Now, connect your Nexus device to a computer.

    • In the folder TWRP, open a terminal (on Windows: press the Shift key and right-click, select Open command window here, or open file MAF32.exe) (on Mac and Linux, right-click, choose Open Terminal)

    • After that you will see a Terminal appears and type the command: adb reboot-bootloader

    • After the Fastboot Mode appears, type the command: fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
    • After that, now type the command: fastboot reboot-bootloader
    • Use the volume keys to scroll down or up to find the "Recovery Mode", press the Power button if you've found it.
    • At TWRP mode, select "Install" and navigate to the file SuperSU.zip in internal memory your Nexus.
    • Swipe to Confirm (form left to right) and you can see some process on the screen of your device
    • Now, press Reboot System to restart your Nexus.

    • After that you will see SuperSU icon in your app menu
