How To Update Firmware On Xiaomi Smartphones

In this post will use two ways to do a Firmware Update Xiaomi device. just to the subject:

METHOD 1

• Download and install the Xiaomi USB Driver on your computer.
• Download Xiaomi Stock Firmware on your computer.
• After that, connect the device to your computer Xiaomi.

• Once connected, copy Xiaomi Firmware file (.zip) to your Xiaomi Internal Storage device (placed outside the folder), and then release the connection between the two.
• Now, open the "Updater" on your Xiaomi device.

• [In MIUI V6] Now, click on the icon "..." in the upper right corner, then select "Choose update package" and select the ROM file that is in your Xiaomi Internal Storage device.
• [In MIUI V5] Now press the Menu key, select "Choose update package" and select the ROM file that is on your Xiaomi Internal Storage device.

• After that, your device will start and will boot automatically upgrade to the latest version after the upgrade is completed.

METHOD 2 : Recovery Mode

• Download the MIUI ROM file on your computer.
• Download and install the Xiaomi USB Driver on your computer.
• After that,  rename of the ROM to "update.zip".
• Now connect the Xiaomi device to your computer using a USB cable.

• Then, copy the ROM file into your Xiaomi Internal Storage device. (Placed outside the folder)
• Now go into Recovery Mode:
• Method 1: Launch the "Updater" on your Xiaomi device, then click on the icon "..." in the upper right corner, then select "Reboot to Recovery Mode".

• Method 2: Turn off your Xiaomi device, then press and hold the "Volume Up and Power" simultaneously so go into Recovery Mode.

• In Recovery Mode, you can use the "Volume Up or Volume Down" to pick it up or down and press the "Power" as a confirmation.
• Upon entry into Recovery Mode, select the language you use and then select "Install update.zip to Siystem One" and then confirm.

• After that, the device will start the update automatically. Please wait until the update process is complete.
• After that, select "Reboot to System One" and then your device will boot to the latest version.
